Our client, a Houston faith-based organization, is hiring for a Director of Operations to join their team. This role will be responsible for organizational planning and goal settings, managing administrative operations and closely collaborating with management and the operations staff to meet short-term and long-term objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and mentoring staff and operations team through motivation, goal setting and evaluation.
• Oversee short-term and long-term contracts that include but are not limited to parking, audio and visual, IT, valet and landscaping. Additional contracts can include campus clients such as restaurants, schools or other philanthropic organizations.
• Lead, manage and analyze data for daily office operations, department budgets, campus planning, administration, information technology, and facilities to identify new solutions or opportunities for improvement.
• Direct attorney efforts for legal concerns that involve insurance, contracts, vendors, or policies.
• Creating processes and protocols for safety, security and inclement weather for the organization.
• Oversee development of annual operating budget while remaining within budget and reporting process to appropriate sources.
• Research and implement new technology tools to enhance office functionality and evaluate programs to ensure they’re fulfilling organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Three to five years' operations experience in progressively responsible roles
• Excellent organizational and people management skills
• Skilled in managing staff and vendors
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to oversee department budget
• Organized and deadline oriented with ability to multi-task
