Project Manager - IT Acquisition Integration

Contract-to-Hire

Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 remote

Job Description

The Project Manager (PM), IT Acquisition Integration, is responsible for implementing the IT initiatives and related business elements for multiple acquisition projects across national/regional geographies. The PM will plan and effectively manage all aspects of the IT integration projects, including cost, schedule, scope, quality, and project resources. We are looking for a problem solver and someone who can look at ways to execute and accomplish tasks more effectively and efficiently. As a member of the BTS Global Acquisition Team this person ensures that the integration projects will achieve business success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with leads from various IT and business functions, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure the completion of IT integration work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate with the cross-functional team including operations, human resources, IT and legal to create an integration project schedule.
  • The candidate will have a strong background in technical acquisition integration, planning and management of 3rd party partners.
  • Participate in the Due Diligence process, where appropriate, regarding late-stage acquisition targets to begin the integration process.
  • Manage the projects to keep the milestones on track and, using sound judgment and excellent teamwork skills, address any issues.
  • Identify alternate sourcing models, when necessary, and manage external partners to complete the IT integration to plan
  • Utilize and modify the BTS integration playbook for driving integrations from initiation to completion
  • Execute on new and existing technical debt reduction initiatives
  • Maintain projects in Smartsheet and report out on a regular basis
  • Capture and track forecasted and actual spend and document appropriately

The Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 8-10 years of project management experience.
  • Corporate Development acquisitions experience in the manufacturing industry is necessary.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and adjust plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior management, as well as BTS and front-line teammates
  • Ability to influence and engage customers and peers.
