The Talent Development Director will develop and implement talent solutions and culture strategic objectives in alignment with DAA business and growth strategies. Under general direction, you will lead the design, planning, development, implementation and on-going operations of talent management solutions including: performance management, talent review, succession planning, career development, engagement and mentorship. You will act as an expert in the use of talent management tools and practices and remain knowledgeable about the latest industry trends in all areas of Talent and partner very closely with our business and function leaders, HR Operations, and HR Business Partners. Location: Hybrid - Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

  • Develop and lead an integrated Talent Management strategy for the organization including performance management, talent review and succession, career development and career pathing
  • Partner with Operational Excellence organization to understand business strategy and key organizational initiatives in order to develop talent strategy to deliver solutions that support the business
  • Lead the design and delivery of talent assessment (Talent Talk) and succession planning processes
  • Build organizational capabilities of talent solutions; with specific focus on leader adoption and HR Business Partner collaboration
  • Facilitate Talent Talk sessions with leaders from all levels of the organization
  • Lead the development and implementation of company succession planning program and process
  • Design and lead the survey strategy for the organization and partner with HR, Business Leaders and Internal Communication to deliver survey solutions
  • Lead the Engagement Survey process and implement engagement action planning and accountability process
  • Lead the design and plan of the performance management process end-to-end, partnering with HR Business Partners, Internal Communications, Compensation and
  • Operational Excellence to develop a comprehensive integrated solution, ensuring alignment of performance management program with key organizational goals
  • Design and lead the development of a mentorship program including implementing mentorship framework and process
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders for successful adoption of mentorship program

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Communications, or related field
  • 10+ Years of Talent Management experience, encompassing performance management, engagement and succession planning
  • 3+ Years of people leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Change Management experience
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) experience
  • Survey technology experience
  • Thorough understanding of HR practices and policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
