Robert Half Finance and Accounting is partnering with a manufacturing company looking to hire a Director of Human Resources based in Frisco, Texas. The HR Director will oversee a team of 5 + employees. This position that will be responsible for Human Resources for 1400 + employees in multiples states. This company is looking for someone with experience in managing payroll, compensation, employee relations, policies and procedures and professional development. Responsibilities:

  • Developing, aligning, and executing HR programs and initiatives that support overall company objectives.
  • Influencing strategic decisions and providing solutions to complex issues in partnership with business leaders.
  • Assessing organizational effectiveness and developing solutions to support business improvements.
  • Identifying talent needs, risks, and gaps, and coordinating execution of a plan to address these using talent management tools and resources.
  • Participating in talent management initiatives to identify, assess, develop, engage, and reward high-performing and high-potential talent.
  • Using data, measures, and analytics to influence decisions and guide prioritization of attention and investment of resources.
  • Coordinating staffing strategies and assisting in the sourcing strategy and selection process for key roles.
  • Advising leaders on sensitive performance-related situations and their business implications.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including updating HR materials such as handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Handling employee relations issues, providing necessary support and advice to resolve conflicts effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required; Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Proficiency in HR Payroll System, specifically UKG
  • Must have experience working in manufacturing or similar industry
  • Must have experience in working in a similiar sized organization
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Compliance and legal aspects of Human Resources
  • Ability to strategize and lead the Human Resources department
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • High-level understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ethical behavior and understanding of handling sensitive information
