Job Description

The purpose of the Business Development Sales Manager is new business development as well as coverage in Group Sales primarily and other sales and marketing revenue driving roles as necessary. Representative will actively conduct prospecting efforts to assist in generating new business opportunities primarily for the group segment along with other revenue streams for the hotel including Event Sales and Business Travel. Representative will handle Group team market coverage in the absence of Sales Manager. This will include all size bookings 8-100 rooms on peak for all market segments. They will manage all social room blocks for events not taking place at the hotel – selling and possibly servicing. Representative will handle all group blocks between 8 and 15 rooms peak night regardless of geographical territory.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Computer knowledge/skills required.
  • U.S. work authorization is required to be considered.
