As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Growth to join our team.


Job Description:

We are looking for a Director of Growth who has a proven track record of scaling businesses from <$2mm ARR to $10mm and beyond. This individual will be responsible for articulating long-term growth strategies while executing short-term content and social media strategies. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, capable of driving growth through innovative marketing initiatives and optimizing the customer journey.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and Execute Growth Strategies:

  • Articulate and implement long-term growth strategies to drive revenue, user base, and market share.
  • Experiment with innovative growth tactics and optimize existing strategies.
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities.


Content and Social Media Marketing:

  • Create and execute short-term content marketing and social media strategies to engage and expand our audience.
  • Manage content creation, curation, and distribution across various platforms.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of content and social campaigns.


Performance Marketing:

  • Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across digital channels to drive user acquisition and conversion.
  • Optimize marketing campaigns using A/B testing, data analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources to maximize ROI.


Public Relations and Communications:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, industry influencers, and partners.
  • Coordinate press releases, media outreach, and event participation to maximize brand exposure.


Website Management:

  • Oversee the strategy, development, and maintenance of the company website to ensure an optimal user experience.
  • Collaborate with web developers, designers, and content creators to enhance website functionality and content.
  • Analyze website performance metrics and implement improvements to increase traffic and conversions.


Customer Journey Optimization:

  • Optimize the customer journey to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates.
  • Implement strategies to nurture leads, reduce churn, and drive customer loyalty.


Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and measure the success of growth initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.


Team Building and Leadership:

  • Initially own content marketing, social media marketing, SEO/digital marketing, brand, and communications.
  • Build and lead a high-performing growth team as the company evolves.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Networking and Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain a network of industry contacts, partners, and influencers.
  • Represent Modus Planning at industry events, conferences, and webinars.


Project Management:

  • Manage growth projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align growth strategies with business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of scaling a business from $0 to $10mm and beyond.
  • Experience in the CPG industry.
  • Extensive experience in performance marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, SEO, digital marketing, PR, brand management, website management, and communications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a proven track record of success.
