Blue Rock Search has partnered with Subway, a leading global QSR Franchisor to identify their next Multi-Unit Owner (MUO) Sales & Consolidation Manager. The MUO Sales & Consolidation Manager facilitates execution of Franchisee Consolidation plans that build Multi-Unit Owner clusters driving operational synergies and franchisee profitability. This person will assist in executing the field development strategy that will align with company Annual Operating Plans to consolidate the region while always acting as a Brand ambassador. The primary goal is to decreases the number of franchisees per Director Franchise Performance territory and increase the ratio of restaurants to franchisee for the U.S.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build, Develop and maintain relationships with existing franchisees and new Multi-unit Franchisees while working to connect growth partners with franchisees looking to exit the brand. Execute consolidation strategy across the US region by ensuring a consistent pipeline of growth opportunity. Partner with Directors of Franchise Performance to identify franchisees looking to exit and create clusters of selling franchisees to then introduce approved to grow franchisees to drive consolidation. Partner with Director, Franchise Sales to identify packages in geographies to incent external franchisees to enter the system.
  • Assist in the evaluation of viable restaurants and make cross functional recommendations that drive the overall market optimization plan by connecting regional growth partners to sales opportunities.
  • Complete rigorous financial and operational reviews regarding transfers, identifying growth partners and restaurant viability with the goal of increasing the ratio of restaurants to franchisees as the primary objective.
  • Use tools such as Third-party Brand Evaluators, Restaurant performance Tracker, Transfers checklist, in person visits and remodel requirements to drive consolidation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience in franchise development or sales, preferably in the QSR industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with ability to optimize franchisee performance and profitability.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills, with prior sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including franchisees, customers, and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and adaptable, with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Possess the agility to switch gears based upon needs of the business.
  • Strategic thinker, with knowledge of strategic development planning, sales and operational analysis, consumer insights, and brand management.
  • Preferably located in the East or Central time zones.
  • Willing to travel 25-30% of the time. Overnight travel included.


Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, qualifications, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
