Systems Administrator

Alexander Technology Group is hiring a Junior Systems Administrator for an established client in Southern NH. The Junior Systems Administrator will join a small IT team supporting a local user base and systems/network infrastructure. This role is a great next step for someone with established desktop support experience and systems/network familiarity that is looking to take the next step in their career. This a full-time/permanent position and our client offers competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities For Junior Systems Administrator

• Troubleshoot IT and client systems.
• Manage the help desk system.
• Provide technical and end-user support.
• Assist with IT projects.
• Maintain hardware inventory.
• Support critical business applications.
• Document processes and results.
• Provide limited server support.
  
  

Requirements For Junior Systems Administrator

• 2-5 years of experience including complex user support and some systems/network administration experience.
• Proficiency in Windows 2016/2019 and Windows 10/11.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and other cloud services.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with Dell/HP hardware.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
