Role Summary:

As a Supply Chain Manager at Mach Industries, you will drive our supply chain evolution. You will collaborate closely with Product design and manufacturing engineering teams to revolutionize the entire product lifecycle, participate in cutting-edge prototype builds, and be at the forefront of innovation. You will have a key role in shaping the future of the supply chain at Mach Industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Source all material and components for all Mach products from around the world.
  • Find and work with world class suppliers, establishing the best terms and price for Mach.
  • Consistently communicate with the manufacturing team and other cross functional teams to establish clear direction.
  • Drive centralized capacity planning for all components used across Mach products and helps drive long term strategic deals.
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of the commodity landscape in order to forecast industry trends and gauge emerging competitive forces.
  • Identify changes in buyer and supplier power and use industry dynamics to Mach’s advantage.
  • Perform supplier financial research, spend analysis, and ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic procurement deals.
  • Effectively work with suppliers to negotiate optimal terms for sourcing.
  • Understand the trade-offs between cost, volume, and quality in order to strike agreements that meet Mach’s performance criteria and secure long-term supply continuity.
  • Collaborate across the Mach organization to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Rapidly synthesize and communicate findings to senior leaders and to actively identify potential supply issues that can affect product strategy.
  • Optimize supply chain performance through cost and capacity scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of value-added, manufacturing processes and costs, and market intelligence and apply this knowledge to influence Mach’s future product roadmap and sourcing decisions.
  • Provide overall program management support and contribute to ongoing development of processes, templates, escalation procedures, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience in supply chain management and management of product through both early-stage and late-stage development.
  • Excellent communications and relationship management skills, with the ability to hold relationships at the highest level.
  • History of delivering on products that are deployed, ideally seeing the entire life cycle of one or more products.
  • Able to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
