Head of BD & Partnerships

This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping Hexagate’s growth trajectory, driving revenue growth strategies, expanding our market presence and building strategic alliances. Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and establish strategic partnerships to achieve our annual goal of quadrupling growth.
- Identify and secure industry, technology, service, community, and ecosystem partnerships and strategic alliances from lead, through the opportunity to close-won.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including blockchain projects, industry associations, and technology providers.
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust partnership pipeline process. Proactively support and grow the sales pipeline, prospect and generate leads.
- Collaborate with the GTM leads to implement effective lead generation.
- Deliver ongoing forecast reports to the executive team. Implement automation and processes using HubSpot or other relevant tools.
- Support sales, product and marketing teams in designing and implementing effective sales training programs, and enhance the sales enablement kit
- Identify and retain advisors who can help achieve our mission and support our brand
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, or a similar role within the blockchain and tech industry.
- A thorough understanding of blockchain market dynamics, business models, and diverse customer needs is required.
- Must have played a significant role in a GTM team, contributing to an increase in revenues from $1M to over $10M, and ranked as top performer.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and managing significant partnership deals (including channel, technology, service, ecosystem, and industry).
- Proven ability to form strategic alliances, as well as co-development and co-marketing partnerships.
- Experience in generating at least $3M new ARR within SaaS companies through partnership development is a must.
- Experience in building and managing a BD/Partnerships team
- Experience working with CRM tools and improving sales processes and reports
- Proven experience in sourcing and driving grants activities to support GTM strategy - an advantage
- A technical background - an advantage.
