Regional Managing Director
Location: Los Angeles, CA (near LAX)
Salary: $135,000 - $175,000 per year
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Managing Director to lead our clients office in the Los Angeles area. This position offers a competitive salary with significant bonus potential and stock options, providing an opportunity to build personal wealth based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage all aspects of our regional operations in the LA area, focusing on sea and air logistics.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and profitability goals.
- Financial Management: Ensure effective financial management, budgeting, and cost control measures are in place.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers and staff to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage operational risks effectively.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sea and air logistics operations, with exposure to managing regional or divisional operations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams to achieve business objectives.
- Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive growth and profitability.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Location: Must be based in the Los Angeles area or willing to relocate.
