Location: PA-Philadelphia, Hybrid 3-4 days on site

Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Communications Manager, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key writer on the team, who meaningfully contributes to the department’s communications strategy, and produce high volume of written deliverables
  • Develop and execute engaging content for platforms in the appropriate established voice for each format and audience
  • Serve as liaison for communications requests including copyediting and fact- checking event pages and newsletters for employee events, experiences, and screenings
  • Support the development of cyclical and ad hoc communications plans and messaging for platforms
  • Conduct partner outreach and draft the quarterly department Briefing Book
  • Support editorial calendar planning, newsletters, and website updates for public programming platforms
  • Support social media copywriting, targeted advertising, user comment moderation, reporting, newsletters, and Sprinklr troubleshooting for public programming platforms and Campus Experiential Content initiatives
  • Serve as key contributor for platforms in internal and external communications recognizing the company’s commemorative and heritage months, including corporate and employee blogs, e-newsletters, and internal social media platform posts on Viva Engage
  • Support the Senior Communications Manager in developing project-based executive summaries, cyclical reports, and other key reporting delivered to senior leadership
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across highly dynamic and cross-functional team on a variety of internal and external communications tactics
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Successful writing experience with a variety of print, video, and online communications
  • Ability to pivot voice and tone to effectively reach various audiences across multiple formats
  • Proficiency with AP Style and social media management platforms
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior management
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work from Company’s HQ campus in Philadelphia for four days per week (Monday- Thursday, with Fridays remote)

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
