We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / VP of Technology to join our esteemed organization in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technological infrastructure and strategy of our organization, ensuring that our technical operations align with our business goals. You will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for the management of technical projects, the development of new technologies, and the overall success of our technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's technology strategy to support its business operations and objectives.
• Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
• Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to identify technological opportunities and challenges, and develop solutions to drive business growth.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to meet or exceed operational targets for cost efficiency and system performance.
• Establish a comprehensive enterprise information security program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of relevant data.
• Lead the technology team in day-to-day operations, providing coaching, motivation, and support to enhance productivity and professional growth.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, and ensure the company is at the forefront of technological advancements.
• Ensure the company's technology processes follow legal and industry compliance regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in the engineering industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, systems, and products.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, GCP, and DevOps best practices for scalable and secure systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate technical teams.
• Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to envision and implement technology-based services that meet business needs and/or create competitive advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and data privacy laws.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, with excellent problem-solving skills.
