Position Overview

The Content & Brand Manager is an exciting new role that requires a mix of creative and strategic thinking. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing & Communications Leader, the Content & Brand Manager is responsible for defining brand strategy and style guidelines, creating messaging frameworks, and leading development of content and creative assets for paid, earned and owned media channels and campaigns. You will lead development from concept through execution to keep our brand and voice consistent across all our various touchpoints.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee brand governance guidelines, core brand assets, brand standards, strategic messaging framework and style guidelines, tools and processes to enable consistent application of the brand across channels.
  • Overseeing the creation of a corporate editorial strategy; capturing and disseminating stories that inspire and excite our audiences; building affinity for the company and its people, products and services through storytelling.
  • Develop an intricate understanding of the product offerings across all supported brands to identify market opportunities and cross-brand offerings. Ensure collaboration and holistic offerings to the market that provide differentiation in the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Create visual and narrative aspects of marketing campaigns for multiple audiences.
  • Own a unified content calendar aligned to target audience journeys and channel executions (email, website, social, etc.).
  • Support internal communications initiatives.
  • Track and manage insights and KPIs that reflect content and brand effectiveness and optimizations.
  • Onboard and guide the work of creative agencies and freelancers, as needed, according to budgets, timelines, and scope.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices to optimize strategy accordingly.
  • Leverage analytics to generate insight and identify areas of opportunity related to all content and campaigns to continuously refine strategies, enhance corporate reputation and achieve business goals.
  • Act as a player/coach when it comes to the implementation of brand and marketing programs, demonstrating leadership and exemplifying best practices of a brand management program to peers and stakeholders across the organization.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels including digital communications and brand strategy including website development, social media, brand storytelling communications
  • Experience coordinating and directing the work of copywriters and designers
  • Experience in B2B preferred
  • Strong creative vision with proven experience with concept development and ability to connect to varied audiences through content
  • Impeccable writing and editing skills
  • Experience digesting data from multiple channels to drive messaging and creative insights for growth
  • Experience leading organic content strategy for website and social media channels
  • Expert project manager and collaborator who prides themselves on never missing a detail or deadline
  • Clear communicator and great storyteller, able to think strategically and creatively to deliver user-focused design and creative work
  • Excellent coaching abilities, and experience attracting and developing top-tier creative talent
