VP of Mixed-Signal Engineering

This confidential client is strategically hiring an experienced, technical people leader to become their new VP of Mixed Signal Engineering.

You will build and lead a team of designers to develop cutting-edge Mixed-Signal Semiconductor products. You will oversee designs from concept through tapeout and post-silicon, so you must have a proven track record in leading teams that work synergistically. It will be considered a bonus if this leader can quickly build a team from past or existing relationships.

As our partner diversifies their product offerings, this leader plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of their technology and their product roadmap. This person will make their mark as both a people leader and a technologist in this unique role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the analog design engineering team, guiding the development of innovative analog power IC designs from concept to production.
• Define and execute the company's design roadmap, aligning with market trends, customer requirements, and business objectives
• Oversee the architectural roadmap of complex mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs)
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their technical requirements and providing expert guidance and support
• Mentor and develop the skills of analog and digital design engineers, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and excellence within the team

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PH.D. in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years of total design experience in the semiconductor industry
• Deep technical expertise in AMS design techniques, methodologies, and tools
• Prior experience leading teams through design flows to successful tapeout is required
• Relevant company experiences include Apple, Qualcomm, NXP, Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, etc.
