Responsibilities include:

Market Expansion and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand PHI Health's air ambulance services. The initial focus will be almost exclusively on developing a robust, pro-active Hospital/Hospital network book of business, but over time may expand to include other markets and opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify areas for growth and product/service enhancements, including priority accounts to target initially.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, medical facilities, insurance providers, and government agencies.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve annual sales goals and drive revenue and profit growth. The initial focus will be almost exclusively on developing a robust, pro-active Hospital/Hospital network book of business, but over time may expand to include other markets and opportunities.
  • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the sales team, motivating and guiding them to achieve their individual and collective targets.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the sales organization.


Sales Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve annual sales goals and drive revenue and profit growth. Again, the initial focus will be on Hospitals/Hospital Networks, but over time can expand to include other markets/opportunities.
  • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the sales team, motivating and guiding them to achieve their individual and collective targets.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the sales organization.


Sales Forecasting, Reporting and Management:

  • Generate accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to provide insights into sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.
  • Present sales reports and updates to the executive team, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
  • Provide regular, frequent updates to the executive team as new opportunities are identified and realized, as this is expected to be a dynamic, rapidly changing market.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and targets, regularly assessing performance against set goals, and updating as appropriate.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and training to team members as sales team is built up over time.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns and feedback promptly, working closely with the operations team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Initial focus will be to develop new business relationship with hospitals and hospital networks nationwide.


Travel Requirements:

  • There is a strong preference for this role to be based in Phoenix, but if candidate circumstances preclude a relocation to Phoenix, regular travel to Phoenix is required.
  • This role requires frequent travel within and outside Arizona to cultivate new client relationships and attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Set a strategic direction as to when outside counsel will be engaged and within what scope.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing is a plus.
  • Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in business development positions, preferably within the healthcare, aviation, or medical transportation industries.
  • Well established connections with Hospitals/Hospital networks.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
  • Ability to travel extensively as required.
  • Able to work under and meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented.
  • The ability to inspire confidence of the other senior leaders through timely delivery of information and plans.
