Corporate Counsel

A reputable Real Estate Investment Trust is looking to add a Corporate Counsel to the growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate law with a focus on regulatory, finance and/or real estate matters.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and analyzing a wide range of commercial documents, including corporate contracts, marketing materials, nondisclosure agreements, and financing documents.
• Analyzing and advising on various regulatory matters, including state licensing laws and requirements.
• Supporting all legal aspects of financing transactions for Lument’s commercial real estate lending, investing, and asset management activities.
• Supporting and advising on corporate financing matters.

Qualification's:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to the bar..
• A minimum of three years of large law firm or comparable in-house corporate experience.
