We are in search of a diligent Senior HR Business Partner to manage HR functions in our client's South Jersey office. This Senior HR Business Partner role involves overseeing all aspects of HR practices and processes, acting as a liaison between staff and management, and assisting with the development and implementation of HR strategies and systems. This Senior HR Business Partner role also requires a high level of professionalism, the ability to manage complex employee relations issues, and experience with HRIS.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and handle various HR functions, guaranteeing that business goals align with the employees and management in assigned business sections.
- Put corporate policy, employment law, and other regulations into effect, offering advice, clarification, or guidance for HR-related queries.
- Serve as a mediator between employees and management, cultivating a positive environment and encouraging a robust corporate culture.
- Detect intricate employee relations issues and address them efficiently and promptly.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the benefits team as required, ensuring employees have access to benefits details and help.
- Apply disciplinary procedures, enforce policies and regulations uniformly across all employees, and oversee the process of termination and post-employment.
- Keep abreast of local, state, and federal employment laws and rules, confirming compliance with all pertinent legal obligations.
- Use tracking tools to ensure compliance with state agencies, achieve deadlines, and meet statutory expectations according to state laws.
The ideal Senior HR Business Partner candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. SHRM-CP/PHR certification or higher preferred
Other requirements for the Senior HR Business Partner position include and are not limited to:
- 5+ years progressive HR experience required.
- Experience with shared services with additional exposure in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledgeable of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations
- Experience with HRIS, internet sourcing, ATS, and payroll systems
- Good verbal and written communications
