We sell and provide installation services for nearly every type of flooring: Carpet, Hardwood, Vinyl, and Ceramic. Flooring and construction experience is not required, but is preferred. We can't wait to meet you.
Responsibilities Include
Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices
Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing flooring products
Ensure that inventory is accurate and maintained
Prepare and distribute work schedules
Sorting and placing materials in their correct locations (racks, shelves, or bin)
Preparing and staging various flooring materials. Carpet, vinyl, plank, etc.
Operating carpet/vinyl cutting machine
Ensure materials are properly loaded and unloaded for delivery and installation
Lifting of flooring materials at times with a weight of 50 pounds or greater and the use of a forklift
Deliver or pick up materials to installers and customer sites
Perform misc. other duties as assigned
Minimal on-site building maintenance
Provide training for all associates on a variety of processes, procedures, and tasks related to their roles and equipment
Assist drivers, when necessary, with guiding the vehicle when backing or parking
Assist with recycling used materials
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Stong computer skills
Present a professional appearance and wear proper protective equipment
Required Qualifications
Be able to lift 50lbs+
Must pass criminal background check
High school or equivalent degree is required
Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation to and from work
Previous warehouse experience
Previous supervising experience (1-2 years)
Forklift experience
Preferred Qualifications, NOT REQUIRED
Forklift certified
OSHA certified
Flooring installation experience
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
