- Grow awareness and build equity for the Insomnia Cookies brand through new strategies that attract customers and deepen relationships with current Insomniacs
- North American go to market strategy, marketing plan development & promotional calendar
- Communications, media strategy & planning (owned/earned/paid); partner with ecommerce team to drive demand and grow our digital business
- Drive promotions with engaging marketing that supports our business/growth goals and grows our community of insomniacs
- Evolve our social media strategy to support brand/business goals and to drive deeper engagement, a larger audience and brand awareness
- Analysis and measurement of all marketing activity, insights-driven approach to deal/discount planning
- Work closely with Cookievation (menu) team to create innovations that drive excitement, occasions, trial and media coverage
- Support company-wide strategic/growth initiatives, serve as SME for marketing in North America
- Collaborate with other functions to create performance-based growth strategies that support our business goals and lead to new insights
- Product naming, positioning and value proposition work for new products and platforms
- Marketing ops and creative direction (field mkt communication, production, traffic, and NA budget tracking)
- Oversee marketing vendor mgmt. (agencies, merchandise, production, photography, etc.), work with supply chain to optimize relationships
- North American PR/publicity for brand, calendar, new stores and more
- Lead, develop and define the needs for the North American marketing team (current team includes approximately 8-10 FTEs including a creative, brand/project mgmt. and social media content teams)
- Minimum of 10-15+ years leadership experience in brand/product management or marketing in the restaurant, retail, hospitality or CPG industry
- Must have a strong background in analytical-based, modern marketing techniques
- Proven track record of creating measurable brand awareness and value creation in a high-growth organization with reach throughout North America
- Prior experience with multi-until retail/restaurant franchisee marketing initiatives – highly preferred
- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams and effectively managing partners, agencies teams and peers
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, marketing, business/analytics or other relevant area required; MBA preferred
- A love of Insomnia Cookies, a sweet tooth, and a sense of humor
- Exceptional analytical, written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong professional presence and the ability to effectively work with executive leadership and peers
- Able to collaborate and influence multiple functions within our support center and field
