The Director of Operations oversees all facets of production, implementing policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure operational efficiency, maintain quality standards, and achieve financial targets.

Director Of Manufacturing Operations Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with company executives and senior staff in the creation and implementation of long-term and short-term plans, policies, programs, and objectives
• Develop and execute the manufacturing plan, establishing procedures to ensure that production operations consistently meet customer and company quality specifications
• Supervise plant production scheduling to optimize performance and output
• Audit plant operations, analyze production data, and provide recommendations to upper management for consideration and decision-making
• Manage logistics, including import operations and ocean freight shipping
  
  

Director Of Manufacturing Operations Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in managing manufacturing facilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Business Management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of system implementations
• Proven experience managing a team of 100 or more employees
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
