Base pay range

We are seeking a purpose-driven professional to lead a team in the development and execution of an advanced and comprehensive learning and development (L&D) program. The program will include development for programs focused on leadership, design and technical practice, innovation, and corporate functions. The successful candidate excels at delivering leading-edge learning strategies to elevate the organization's overall capabilities, and platforms that enable talent development. The Head of L&D will report to the Chief People Officer within the Culture, Brand, and Innovation group.

Your Impact

Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of these strategies to ensure maximum effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
  • Develop learning pathways that provide practical and foundational skillset development for every job and level.

Program Leadership

  • Lead initiatives to support employees during transitions such as technological changes, acquisitions, and mergers.
  • Lead subject matter experts to develop and rollout of on-the-job training programs.

Curriculum Development

  • Leads the company in identifying current and future training needs to create a dynamic curriculum that addresses these needs.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of executive and leadership development programs.

Communication And Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with management, trainers, and team members to ensure training needs are met.
  • Tailor the communication of training programs to enhance overall effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify gaps in current training content and materials, updating them to boost productivity and client focus.
  • Development of strategies for digital training programs for continuous education.

Here's What You'll Need

  • 10+ years' experience leading Human Resource Development, Certification & Training Program Leadership, or Learning Experience Design organizations.
  • Proficiency in orchestrating collaborative engagements within distributed/remote teams across multiple time zones.
  • Preparedness for travel, with an ability to accommodate up to 15% of work-related trips.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a small team of adult learning professionals
  • Prior experience collaborating with HR on comprehensive skills assessment strategies.
  • Proficiency in devising strategies to address skill disparities and formulating pragmatic solutions.
  • Aptitude in mapping job roles to competencies for enhanced workforce effectiveness.
  • Accountability, ownership, and an ethical compass in decision-making.
  • Develops potent solutions based on available data and insights.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and budget
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Legally authorized to work within the United States.

The actual offered base salary will vary depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role will be at or near the top half of the range provided, but the decision will be dependent on the factors of each individual case. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. The salary range for this position is below.
