How would you lead our team of competent solution engineers in the US and partner with sales teams to accelerate our expansion in the region?

Keepit is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to join our team in the United States and accelerate our growth across the American continent, encompassing North and South America.


We are growing fast as a company, and we are set on using our momentum to bring our SaaS cloud backup services to a global audience. Our Solution Engineers play an essential part by being technical brand ambassadors and partnering with our sales teams to bring in new customers. This requires us to be knowledgeable about the implementation of our service, and on point on how it can bring value to our customers.


As Director of Solutions Engineering, you will coach and lead our competent team of solution engineers in the United States. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth in the region by partnering with our sales teams to help them reveal the true potential of our SaaS backup solutions. You will engage with customers and partners, so you should be comfortable navigating both technical and commercial stakeholders.


Central tasks as Director of Solutions Engineering will include:

  • Coach and lead our team of solution engineers in the region.
  • Partner with our sales teams to illustrate the business-critical potential of our SaaS cloud backup solutions and ultimately bring in new customers.
  • Lead technical validations (POCs, trials) and conduct customized technical presentations and product demos.
  • Engage in public speaking, webinars, and content creation to highlight Keepit's value proposition and technological leadership.
  • Oversee the transition from technical validation to customer activation, ensuring a smooth handover to the support team.
  • Develop partners, enhancing their understanding of Keepit's products and technical benefits.


As Director of Solutions Engineering, you will be joining our team of competent sales professionals and IT entrepreneurs in the US. You will report directly to our Global VP of Go-To-Market Technology, Sylvain Siou. 2. Commercial Leadership: As Director of Solutions Engineering, you will partner with our sales teams and channel partners to bring in new customers in the region. Therefore, the ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of the commercial aspects of value selling to strategic customers and setup an efficient organization to cover all market segment.


3. Technical Brand Ambassadorship: We seek a profile who can represent Keepit within the industry, engaging at forums, events, and seminars to promote Keepit's technological innovations and foster a positive market presence. The ability to effectively communicate Keepit's value proposition, engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and act as the face of Keepit in the region is pivotal. As such, this role requires a blend of technical knowledge and public relations skills to elevate Keepit's brand and establish us as a cloud data protection market leader.
