You Are
UST HealthProof seeks a creative, detail-oriented, and strategic problem-solver to help execute and support the organization’s communications needs. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting all external and internal communications, including email, print, social media, and online communication. The individual will also support the communication strategy, assist in Town Halls, perform media monitoring, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
The Opportunity
- Assist with social media by writing content, assisting with strategy and scheduling, and monitoring social media platforms.
- Edit and proof materials such as white papers, case studies, and assist in news/blogs.
- Assist with the development and management of the editorial calendar.
- Support events, including coordinating logistics for events such as the upcoming one in Detroit for clients and teams.
- Help manage media contacts and send out press releases.
- Conduct media monitoring to track coverage and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Draft initial versions of articles for internal newsletter.
- Participate in audits of intranet site, “BOB”
- Gather and format survey responses to support impact analysis and tracking.
- Ensure that all necessary external communications are posted on BOB.
- Assist in the development and implementation of UST HealthProof’s overall strategic communications plan.
- Assist in Town Hall and other event coordination.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or the equivalent in education and experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong graphic design and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organization and creative thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Products (including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $45,000-$52,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue up to 16 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses. Certain regular employees may have the potential for quarterly incentive-based bonuses and or commissions depending on role. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
