Job Description
Manage the strategic development and implementation
Oversee data element development and ongoing functionality
Manage Data Quality Specialist's work to assure administration and proper protocols are followed.
Develop content and coordinate meetings of internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain relationships and collaborate with other societal partners to ensure alignment in processes and systems across the platform's modules.
Develop an annual plan and need assessment in conjunction with the External Relations team for coordinating and soliciting Industry involvement. Help identify potential funding sources and vendor prospects. Help provide content for pitches for obtaining funding and vendor partners to fuel and support .
Oversee the consultant's management of the certified vendor applications and systems integration processes.
Create and manage quality improvement initiatives for registry, including providing timely and regular reports
Provide feedback and support to the VP of Technology on their management of outside, including technical support staff, Registry platform vendors, etc.
Manage the contract process for registry enrollment with oversight from the CEO when there is variation.
Supervise Research Manager's administration of the society's research grants and awards programs to assure targets and protocols are met.
Suggest activities and review content to publicize data in the form of webinars, journal articles, slides or written reports to the marketing and education teams.
Prepare reports to Board of Directors related to Research and Registry-related activities (approx. 5 times a year).
Create and negotiate research related contracts with oversight of the Deputy Director.
Provide support to society strategic goals as they relate to research and registry activities.
Contribute to other Research and Registry-related projects, taskforces, and tasks as needed
Specific Skills/Knowledge
Proven ability to manage data-based projects, and to process and accurately manage information pertaining to research, scientific projects and/or analysis.
Supervisory experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and effectively meet deadlines.
Proven ability to coordinate projects that involve multiple staff and outside volunteers.
Strong organizational and communications skills.
A self-motivated worker, able to effectively meet deadlines.
