Rate: $160-$190K Annually

Our startup client is in need of a Head of Strategic Sales Operations to join their team!
This Head of Strategic Operations role is remote but the candidate ideally is based in the Bay Area or Houston.
The primary responsibilities for this Head of Strategic Sales Operations role include:
- Pipeline & Coaching:
- Tracking and analyzing the sales pipeline funnel from lead to close to identify improvement areas and designing programs to help sellers move deals faster
- Sales Forecasting: Driving continuous improvement by defining standard operating cadences within forecast calls, key metric reviews, and quarterly business reviews
- Sales Enablement: Working with product marketing, product management, and solution engineers to prepare materials and implement training to enable our sales team to do vertical/industry-based selling
- Sales Plan & Comp: Supporting annual planning cycles and own ongoing administration of compensation plans, quota design, revenue forecasting and territory management - owning the revenue forecast and financial/strategic annual plan
- GTM Strategy & Alignment: Collaborating directly with Revenue team, Marketing, and Finance to determine markets, accounts, regions that should be targeted and align sales and collateral to support the strategy
- Data Analytics: Owning data analytics regarding all things related to sales – this is mostly SFDC and so being an expert in SFDC is important – data hygiene and pipeline development analysis
- Deal Desk: Managing the sales deal desk for price structuring, terms, and closing to support the sales deals closing and order administration
The ideal Head of Strategic Sales Operations candidate has:
- 8+ years Sales Ops experience
- Strong background with sales forecasting; SFDC data cleanliness/analysis; sales enablement; deal desk/order administration; commission plan design and administration
- Strong hands-on experience with SFDC with a scrappy attitude and ability iterate without heavy infrastructure
- Self-motivated - if something is broken, you should work cross-functionally to come up with an appropriate and timely solution
- Experience driving consensus across cross-functional groups using data and persuasion
