VP Engineering (Frontend - Founding Team)

Vice President of Frontend Engineering

Company Overview

ListAcross is a channel management SAAS platform for peer-to-peer marketplaces looking for a highly experienced and driven VP of Engineer to join our founding tean, drive frontend and mobile development, and help us build and scale our platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the frontend roadmap for our SAAS platform, taking into account the needs of our customers and the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with our CTO, CEO, product management, design, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and functionality.
• Develop, build, and maintain the front-end and mobile infrastructure using React and React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop, build, and maintain all new user journeys and effectively code merge with the backend.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in React, React Native, JavaScript, Express.js, Go, and Node.js.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, including road-mapping, cataloguing user feedback, rapid iteration, and prototyping.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (including jQuery), and proficiency with HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Puppeteer, Selenium, and Selendroid is a plus.
• Facilty with peer-to-peer marketplaces (eBay, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc.) is a must.
• Experience with eCommerce and Retail platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience with scalable design and implementation.
• Knowledge of machine learning, AI, chatbots, and natural language processing a plus.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  
  

Compensation

• This role is part of the founding team. Compensation will be pure equity commensurate with experience. Upon the achievement of certain revenue milestones or upon raising our next round, salary will be commensurate with experience and generous (exceeding that of the CEO). If you can make this a huge success, you will see tremendous upside; the role is truly sink or swim. Fortunately for you, we have already been through a prestigious accelerator and raised a round of financing, so we already have a product in beta and a 40,000 user waitlist, both of which de-risk this opportunity for an incoming VP of Frontend Engineering.
