What we are looking for

Impala is looking for an Account Executive to be part of the first wave of sales hiring and reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer. Your primary focus will be acquiring net new customers of varying size and profile across the Nonprofit sector. We pride ourselves on being down-to-earth (no BS), nimble and efficient, so we won't waste your time with an overwritten job description. The ideal candidate will have a track record of sales success, passion for social impact and be excited about achieving something bigger than just their quota.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage full sales cycle deals from prospecting to ensuring a smooth transition to Customer Success. 
  • Deliver quarterly ARR quota and achieve sales KPIs.
  • Manage leads and collaborate with Marketing and Product to proactively increase volume and quality.  
  • Accurately forecast deals, proactively manage pipeline and ensure sales strategy and CRM are up to date.
  • Communicate and share product and market feedback with Impala internal teams.
  • Serve as a thought-leader for Impala by adding value to our customers and prospects through individual interactions and larger-scale presentations.


Requirements:

Minimum requirements for this role:

  • Minimum 3+ years in sales at a small to medium, high growth SaaS start-up.
  • Results-driven with a great sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with excellent ability to build and maintain relationships. 
  • Proactive self-starter, with a track record of taking projects from concept to delivery.
  • Showcase extreme ownership and a positive attitude, while being self-aware and open to growth and development.


Preferred requirements for this role:

  • Experience selling directly to customers in the US nonprofit and philanthropy sectors, and an understanding of the decision-making structures and purchasing cycles of these organizations.
  • Experience selling to a large, high-volume pipeline of SMBs (as noted above, we already have thousands of users and are growing quickly).
