Chief Financial Officer

Talisman has been entrusted to find the next CFO of a well-established environmental, engineering, and planning consulting firm.

The CFO will lead the company's financial operations, ensuring stability and driving growth through strategic initiatives. With extensive experience in finance, accounting, and the engineering consulting industry, the ideal candidate will be key in shaping financial strategies. Working alongside the CEO, executive team, and board of directors, the CFO will focus on long-term planning, providing essential leadership and overseeing financial performance to support the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership and drive long-term financial planning.
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
• Support business development by providing financial insights and evaluating investments.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintain internal controls, and oversee audits
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 15+ years of financial management experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in engineering consulting preferred.
• Significant experience with financial planning, accounting and financial complian
• Proven leadership and team-building skills.
