Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist / Junior Business Partner to join our our growing team in a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of HR experience, with a strong background in HR operations and familiarity with Workday. This role will report directly to Chief People Officer and will be responsible for supporting end to end HR initiatives across the organization.


Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, practices, and procedures.

• Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and payroll

• Collaborate with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, etc.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives (e.g., performance management, training and development, employee engagement).

• Be a key contributor in the implementation and rollout of Workday for HCM (1/1/25)

• Maintain and update employee information in Workday and support reporting needs as needed

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Participate in HR projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Support Chief People Officer in various strategic initiatives and special projects across the employee lifecycle, employee engagement, etc.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• 5-10 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.

• Experience with Workday is required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• High integrity, “can do” attitude and approach

• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required.
