Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Manager for our facility in Henderson, NV. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure compliance with quality standards across all stages of food processing and distribution. This role involves supervising and training staff, conducting audits, developing and implementing quality control procedures, and maintaining detailed records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards during production and distribution.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, USDA, and HACCP standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the facility and processes.
• Supervise and train quality assurance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

• Food Safety and Quality Control Expertise: Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures, including GMP, FDA, USDA, and HACCP standards.
• Leadership and Management Skills: Proven experience leading and managing teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to complex quality issues.
• Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance tracking.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or training in quality control are also beneficial.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role within the food industry, including supervisory or managerial experience.
