Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Operations Manager to join our team at Avatar Natural Foods in Henderson, NV. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, optimizing processes, ensuring quality control, and maximizing efficiency within our food processing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate daily activities in the food processing plant to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Staff Management: Lead and mentor a team of employees, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Problem-Solving: Analyze operational challenges and develop effective solutions to improve plant performance.
• Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and ensure the plant adheres to all relevant standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Operations Management, Process Optimization, and Quality Control within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
• Strong Team Leadership and Staff Management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, USDA organic standards, HACCP, and GMP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Certifications in operations management or quality control are a plus.
