About the Program –


Our D.C. office is seeking highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented students for a part-time fall internship. As an intern in our office, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of client accounts across our Strategic Communications and Government Affairs divisions, and gain hands-on experience working alongside our teams of dedicated and creative communications professionals.


This internship will require a minimum of 16 hours per week and for you to work a hybrid schedule in Washington D.C.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Cover and summarize hearings on Capitol Hill

• Proofread and edit client-facing collateral

• Assist with in-person events

• Monitor media, policy developments, and online conversations for clients

• Conduct qualitative research for new business and existing clients

• Create and maintain press lists

• Provide general support to internal teams as needed


Requirements

Current student in undergraduate program, Junior or Senior

• Strong writer and editor

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Organized and can manage multiple assignments and deadlines

• Interest in strategic communications and government affairs

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Eagerness and desire to learn
