Your Role on the Team
Position Summary
Assist the Chief Human Resources Officer in implementing all of the Human Resources policies and procedures including but not limited to recruitment, selection and retention of hospital personnel, employee relations, employee health, wage/salary and benefits administration, orientation, annual updates and maintenance of personnel records.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years Human Resources generalist experience or above;
- Five years Human Resources experience or above;
- Proficiency in Word/Excel/HRIS;
- High School Diploma;
- Strong organizational/communication skills both verbally and in writing;
- Strong knowledge of Labor Laws, California Leave Law, and Workers’ Compensation.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- BS or BA related field; Previous acute care of healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
