We're searching for a dynamic and visionary Retail Store Manager who will inspire our team, elevate our customer experience, and drive our business to new heights. As the pioneer manager for this flagship location, you'll play a critical role in building the foundation for the future of CALPAK's retail operations.

Lead with Purpose:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including supervising a team of managers, supervisors and team members.
  • Motivate, coach, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service and embody the CALPAK brand.
  • Develop, mentor, and onboard new employees, ensuring they are set up for success and aligned with our brand values.
  • Exercise authority in hiring, firing, and evaluating employee performance, including making recommendations for promotions and disciplinary actions.


Business Leader

  • Develop and implement effective retail strategies to drive store performance and growth.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the local market, customer base, and competitors to inform business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and insights that impact store success and align with CALPAK’s goals.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by analyzing KPIs and utilizing data-driven strategies to drive revenue.
  • Manage the store’s budget by setting financial goals, controlling expenses, and reviewing performance reports to maximize profitability.


Drive Customer Engagement:

  • Be a product expert and stay ahead of industry trends to provide exceptional customer interactions.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to enhance customer experience and increase store performance.
  • Act as a key communicator for new initiatives, promotions, and leadership messages, ensuring clarity and excitement across the team.


Operational Excellence:

  • Utilize independent judgment to develop store strategies, manage budgets, and solve complex operational challenges.
  • Execute operational policies and procedures flawlessly, maintaining store standards at the highest level.
  • Manage inventory, order management, and product knowledge to ensure smooth operations and optimal stock levels.
  • Solve complex problems efficiently while adapting to the ever-changing retail landscape.


Build and Lead a High-Performing Team:

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training efforts, ensuring your team is empowered to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, passion, and positivity that fosters personal and professional growth.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership, providing the tools and guidance your team needs to succeed.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive retail management experience with a focus on sales and service excellence.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, and visual merchandising.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.


Position Type & Expected Hours:

  • Full-time salaried role requiring 40-45+ hours/week minimum, with flexibility for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
