Job Summary

As the Lead Technician your day to day responsibilities are to respond to scheduled home/property maintenance appointments, field dispatches, on-site customer interaction, completing job estimates, equipment maintenance, van consumable inventory management, and ensuring vehicle safety. Additional duties may include handling routine & scheduled vehicle maintenance visits and ongoing oil changes.

Responsibilities

  • You will:
    • Conduct routine service maintenance within defined timeframes.
    • Perform preventive maintenance to the service equipment.
    • Inspect and troubleshoot failures to the service equipment.
    • Install, test, and train on new service equipment.
    • Maintain the van equipment and daily stock of consumables.
    • Use technology (camera, phone, tablet) as part of all work.
    • Train Jr Technicians and be a guide/mentor
  • **NOTE**: you will not amend or repair any part of the home/owner's property.

Qualifications

  • You're handy and have been working in a maintenance environment.
  • You have strong time management skills demonstrating the ability to get work done quickly within a defined timeframe.
  • You're great with people, customer focussed, and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • You recognize most homeowners don't have the time or know how to maintain the critical components of their home and you know the right way to talk to them to convey trust that everything will be taken care of as expected.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language
  • High School Diploma or GED
