Title: HR Director

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary HR business partner for operations and corporate functions
  • Collaborate with leaders and teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and drive impact
  • Coach and advise leaders on people strategy including organization design, change management, talent management, and employee engagement
  • Ensure efficient delivery of HR programs and services, such as performance management, compensation planning, and talent reviews
  • Develop and implement organizational effectiveness strategies to drive employee engagement and retention
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to attract, onboard, develop, and retain the necessary talent
  • Support enterprise diversity and inclusion initiatives through collaboration with business leaders to create inclusive and cohesive teams
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Participate in enterprise-wide initiatives/projects as assigned
  • Achieve target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to attrition, employee engagement, and safety
  • Drive employee engagement across all departments of the DC
  • Complete other valuable activities as assigned by the organization
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team and various business partners to ensure optimal alignment and collaboration
  • Provide employee relations support
  • Maintain a positive, service-focused mindset
  • Demonstrate the ability to value both relationships and results, and prioritize others
  • Recruit, train, and develop a strong team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in an HR generalist role, with strong organizational capability/organization development, change management, and talent management experience
  • Of which, 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in using HR technology and analytics
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus
  • Master’s in human resources management is required
  • Proven ability to partner, communicate, and consult with executive and senior-level leadership routinely and effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
