Job Overview

The Senior Quality Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting rigorous testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Your expertise will help the organization maintain its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze quality metrics and provide insights to improve product development processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Lead and participate in various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance) throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met at each stage of development.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing.
  • Mentor junior quality analysts and provide guidance on testing methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Python).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in conducting various types of testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
