Your expertise will help the organization maintain its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze quality metrics and provide insights to improve product development processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Lead and participate in various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance) throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met at each stage of development.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing.
- Mentor junior quality analysts and provide guidance on testing methodologies and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and quality assurance methodologies.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Python).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience in conducting various types of testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
