Senior QA Lead

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior QA Lead with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Plano, TX and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Identify issues, facilitate review of those issues with leads, and execute defect management as appropriate
• Prepare Test Metrics, Test Results, Ad-Hoc reports that show the progress of testing and the result of all tests
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle and recommend/facilitate quality improvement efforts
• Work side by side with development and business partners to determine optimal test coverage and ensure high quality software is delivered to our customers
• Responsible for planning, executing, and managing the testing effort for a variety of projects across multiple lines of business and technology platforms
• Learn the business and technical components of an application to appropriately communicate risk and status to manager
• Work with their peers across the organization to drive test efficiencies, improve frameworks, and enhance the enterprise testing process
• Oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company
• May include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports
• Design, develop and perform manual software tests, test plans and test cases on Agile products to meet quality objectives in conformance with customer requirements and required standards and regulations
• Perform analysis of test results and tracks/reports risk levels during test execution
• Responsible for diagnosing software/hardware/data interface problems and ensuring system integration
• Document test results, including deviations and defects, for follow-up and modification of products
• Collaborate with peer engineers, architects and development engineers to address issues and resolve problems
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience leading a QA team also being hands-on with testing
• Testing/Defect Life Cycle, Testing Phase/Process (SIT, Regression, UAT, PPV, etc.), and Documentation (Test Strategy/ Test Plan/ Test Reports, etc.)
• Functional & Integration Testing (Manual & Automation)
• Agile Testing Methodology (JIRA)
• Experience with BDD testing i.e. be able to write test cases using BDD format and execute them
• System Integration Testing experience (i.e. UI - API - Backend Validation experience) and in writing SQL queries (should be able to write joins, group by, etc.)
• Good team player/Communication skills
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of demonstrable UFT QA Automation and Java experience

• Post Man/SOA Test validation experience
• Banking/ Wealth Management Domain knowledge
• Experience with developing both automated and manual tests automated solutions
• Domain knowledge of banking and financial Applications Hadoop, Tableau, Data Lake, Responder testing Test Automation via UFT, Selenium or Test Complete, BDD
  
  

Pay Range: $49.86 - $57.86
