You will focus on user stories, grooming, and solution design to deliver business requirements. A typical day as an IT Product Owner, you would :

  • You will establish and maintain relationships with key tactical leaders and business implementation leads; use deep business knowledge of multiple businesses or sub- domains to drive engagement for major IT initiatives; and influence overall IT and business planning; engages in strategic business planning where there is IT impact.
  • You will collaborate closely with global Lead to Quote business partners to co-develop a roadmap and shepherd products and features from concept to launch in a dynamic environment.
  • You will work alongside cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement, to ensure successful applications delivery.
  • You will translate data insights into actionable application outcomes for Lead To Quote business owners and stakeholders.
  • You will operate within an Agile framework, continuously evaluating business needs, refining priorities, defining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • You will engage with stakeholders and business owners across the organization to shape the application vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • You will communicate tactical IT decisions and plans and works to achieve alignment with relevant areas of the business, function, or geography.
  • You will represent the needs of the business, function, or geography on an ongoing basis to maintain consistent plans between IT and the business.
  • You will identify areas where the business, function, or geography can take advantage of standard IT solutions.
  • You will actively participates in IT projects to ensure that business, function, and geography "customers" are included appropriately and ensures that they receive sufficient and timely communications.
  • You will design and subsequently develop various Lead To Quote features such as selection of services, configuration, solution building, pricing, UX design, amendments
  • You will perform analysis and technical implementation design of cross-functional and complex business requirements and hands-on development on small enhancements.
  • You will translate business roadmap features into clear application requirements, including features, user stories, FDS, and acceptance test criteria.
  • You will communicate and collaborate business requirements and solution design with offshore team members

About You

  • You have a bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, or related fields with a minimum of 15 years experience of hands-on experience in Lead To Quote Marketing, configuration, pricing, quoting and services contract renewal management, along with expertise in documenting functional design specifications.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal skills. Strong business experience in multiple business sub-domains. Strong relationship management skills.
  • You have excellent project management and process development skills.
  • You have experience with business user stories grooming and solution design using Jira and Confluence.
  • You have proficient in developing database queries and processing a basic understanding of Java coding.
  • You have at least 4 cycles of large implementation with many system integrations, and excellent communication skills enabling clear articulation of complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • You have extensive experience in Lead To Quote Marketing, configuration, pricing, quoting and services contract renewal management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • You have proven ability to resolve team conflicts and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • You have proficient in creating leadership-level presentation slides, conveying complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
