Minimum Qualifications Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business/public administration, finance, accounting, or related field. 5 years of finance or budgeting experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree in business/public administration, finance, accounting, or related field; 5-7 years of professional experience in public administration, budgeting, or related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis); and ITIL version 3 or 4 certification.
- Knowledge of principles, processes, and procedures for operating an exceptional and efficient information technology organization.
- Skill in overseeing the management of record keeping and documentation.
- Skill in persuading people to change habits and behaviors; attention to detail, accuracy, and quality; time management of self and others; project management; critical thinking; using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems; listening and communicating exceptionally to effectively convey information verbally and in writing; analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes; identifying and mitigating problems, risks, and issues.
- Ability to apply general rules and best practices to specific problems to produce sensible solutions; work on own initiative and be proactive in developing and improving the administrative and business functions; plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities, meetings and/or special events; routinely gather, collate, and/or classify data; analyze data utilizing a variety of complex processes; operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods; work with a significant diversity of individuals and/or groups; develop and maintain positive working relationships; provide direction; provide exceptional customer service.
- Skill in communicating effectively with supervisors and other staff members.
- Ability to comprehend and apply regulations and procedures of the department; and ability to perform duties under a moderate degree of stress related to duties that require constant attention to details and tight deadlines.
