Job Preview At a Glance

Responsible for running and reconciling client roster reports on a weekly basis to ensure accurate client enrollment & eligibility set-up in EHR. Responsible for entering RBHA 834 enrollments on RBHA websites. Identifies and problem solves issues/potential problems that interrupt progress note entry, and claims submissions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of SB&H, health plans, AHCCCS, Commercial Insurance, enrollment and eligibility processes.
  • Validate client eligibility via AHCCCS, health plan, and insurance company websites.
  • Works closely with clinical sites to resolve data entry client enrollment & eligibility errors.
  • Respond to emails and Jira tickets for assistance from SB&H staff regarding client setup and other issues in SB&H EHR in a timely manner.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.

Education & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. plus college level course work
  • One year of healthcare eligibility or enrollment experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Prior Health Plan and Commercial Insurance experience
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
