Business Analyst

Savan is looking for a skilled Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, technical writing, experience with reporting tools such as Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau, and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data and reporting needs.
• Develop detailed business and technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user guides.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation for various audiences.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating reports and dashboards against source systems.
• Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users on the use of reports and dashboards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, technical writing, and reporting.
  
  

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of professional experience
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of reporting systems and technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• U.S. Government Public Trust or the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience, relevant coursework, or Oracle OAS/OBIEE or Tableau certification.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
• Experience in project administration or agile methodologies.
