At EIM, we are reimagining healthcare education to humanize patient care in every community. We offer accessible lifelong learning to healthcare professionals transforming their communities. EIM has established nationwide partnerships hybrid healthcare programs in a variety of disciplines. The Director, New Program Implementation will play a pivotal role in the success of EIM’s mission and our university partnerships growth strategy. This leader will be responsible for strategy and execution of the implementation of new products and programs to meet business and revenue goals. The Director will oversee the entire portfolio and is responsible for clear and direct communications with the EIM senior leadership team, Managing Directors, and UP service line directors. Due to the complexities of the function, the Director must have experience in graduate healthcare education, accreditation, curriculum, clinical requirements, and student recruitment.

Additionally, the individual will be responsible for managing internal and external relationships to ensure program success and provide implementation support for more complex launches. They will also support enterprise-wide projects that propel standardization, growth, and efficiency across implementation, and develop, maintain and promote implementation resources.

Responsibilities

Location:

San Antonio, TX

Louisville, KY or remote options

Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following)

  • Develop, plan and execute strategy for program launch and integration of implementation team into the EIM operating model.
  • Lead implementation for a portfolio of new program launches across multiple external partners
  • Assist in onboarding of new Program Directors to EIM services from a technical and project management standpoint across EIM service lines.
  • Create and maintain documentation on program structure and all decisions made throughout the implementation period to ensure a smooth transition to program management
  • Lead and coordinate all operational activities, recourses, and timelines related to program launch project plan in collaboration 20+ internal and external stakeholders within UP and EIM teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for relevant product lines and aid support teams in escalating and resolving issues
  • Effectively build and own internal relationships with cross-functional leaders at the Director level and below, and delegate project tasks to those individuals best positioned to execute 
  • Support partner relationships with the broader team in order to set a strong foundation for the partnership, escalate implementation blockers, and drive launch priorities
  • Navigate and influence partner relationships to ensure clarity of project goals, timely delivery of partner-owned milestones, and promote partner satisfaction
  • Provide regular and consistent project updates to internal and external stakeholders at all levels on implementation strategy, project progress, and timeline risks 
  • Ability to think critically and identify potential issues in operations, systems and cross-functional communications
  • Oversee creation of and maximize available resources for program implementation processes
  • Develop, prepare and analyze budgeting program launch function and technology
  • Proactively lead efforts to implement process improvements across cross-functional teams and systems that support scalability and learner and partner growth
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

Qualifications

Key Qualifications

Required:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in project management, operations, client management; higher ed, tech or healthcare industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects, establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and key external relationships
  • Track record of working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent computer skills, coupled with the ability to quickly learn new software suites and functionality
  • Demonstrated success with leading and managing multiple stakeholders and priorities in the absence of direct line authority

Preferred:  

  • 3 years’ experience directly managing midlevel employees, with a focus on professional development.
  • Previous experience working with global and remote teams
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
  • Experience working with SIS, Excel, Salesforce, Monday.com or equivalent systems
