Who We Are: Playa Bowls is New Jersey’s Original Acai Shop™, and our mission is to bring super fruit bowls to the masses using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients while providing a fantastic in-store brand experience . What began as a pair of blenders, a patio table, and a fridge has flourished into a 200-unit operator and franchisor of the leading fast casual restaurant concept.

Who You Are: As a Marketing Team Member, you’re a positive and enthusiastic people-person, who may just so happen to have a passion for fruit, superfoods, and all things healthy! You will be responsible for helping new customers pick a superfood for them and using your own personal skills to create them. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, career growth, entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and an occasional silly food pun, we want you!

What You’ll Do

• Assist Manager in overseeing all marketing, catering & events for Playa Bowls Boston-area locations.
• Must have a car and ability to drive to and execute on events (including set up and break down).
• Assist Manager in tracking all in-bound/out-bound events, sponsorships, festivals, etc. Expect to be onsite to assist in preparation and execution.
• Assist Manager in tracking all catering (ezCater and in-store) inquiries, orders and requests. Expect to be onsite to assist in preparation and execution.
• Assist in tracking all store-level fundraisers and donations.
• Assist in tracking our local-level Playa Bowls Athlete program.
• Coordinate with management and individual stores on event staffing, product management, catering orders.
• Coordinate with our Social Media Manager on upcoming events, giveaways, and other promotions.
• Focus on outreach for catering and events, building on a master contact list.
• Hold team accountable for excellence in product quality, consistency and execution, speed of service, cleanliness and maintenance, and customer service.
• Foster Positive Energy in the work environment to accomplish business results (increased customer counts, increased sales, and increased profits).
• Meet quarterly financial and operational targets.
  
  

What You Bring

• Previous experience (and/or degree) in marketing or event coordination
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• An effective communicator and a team player
• The ability to pitch in where needed and able to do what it takes to get the job done
• Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong work ethic and an enthusiasm to grow with us!
• And most importantly, FUN
