Market President

Do you have a proven track record of successful leadership and business development? MBT Bank is seeking an experienced Bank Market President to lead our Austin, MN location. 

A successful candidate would be goal driven with a background in commercial and agricultural lending, willing to engrain themselves in the Austin community to network and grow a customer base, able to lead by example to execute MBT Bank’s mission and vision statement and support branch operations to ensure customers’ needs are met. 

Responsibilities:

1.     Business Development –Lead and drive business development strategies and execute opportunities with existing and prospective commercial and agricultural customers in the Rochester market. Build relationships with stakeholders that support our customers and advance MBT’s presence in the marketplace through sales calls and participation in community activities and marketing events.  

2.     Bank Operations – Actively facilitate outstanding service through customer interactions and management of staff performance to ensure a quality experience with the bank. Maintain knowledge of MBT Products and Services. Bank safety and soundness should be maintained by enforcing bank procedures and having accurate knowledge of Federal, State and MBT policies.

3.     Loan Functions – Work closely with Senior Loan Officer to monitor quality, compliance, and trends of loan portfolio. Make credit decisions within lending authority and ensure compliance with loan policy and banking regulations. 

Education and/or Experience: Preferred Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, finance, or related field and/or at least 10 years’ experience in lending and prior supervisory experience.
