Organization Overview
We are a dynamic and growing Accountable Care Organization (ACO) dedicated to improving the quality of care and health outcomes for patients residing in long-term care facilities. Our ACO participates in the Medicare Shared Savings Program and collaborates closely with a network of long-term care practices, including physicians and advanced practice providers. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to join our team and lead our operational efforts.
Position Summary
The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ACO, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of care coordination and quality improvement initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of the Medicare Shared Savings Program, value-based care models, and the unique needs of long-term care patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Provide strategic and operational leadership to the ACO, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
- Program Management: Oversee the implementation and management of ACO programs, including care coordination, quality improvement, and population health initiatives.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the ACO's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and maximizing shared savings opportunities.
- Provider Engagement: Foster strong relationships with participating providers, facilitating collaboration and communication.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and program requirements.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing operations team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations, with a focus on value-based care and/or ACOs. Experience working with long-term care providers and patients is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of Medicare Shared Savings Program and relevant regulations.
- Location: Ability to work in either the Boston, MA or Shelton, CT area is preferred.
