About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to guide our financial strategy and contribute to our growth. This pivotal role requires a scrappy, but seasoned professional with a passion for early-stage environments and a strategic vision to shape the financial future of a company driving innovation in behavioral health. As a key member of the executive team, you will provide leadership and coordination in the investing, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company. This position involves critical decision-making and a hands-on approach to navigating early-stage financial landscapes with GM’s across different business verticals.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop operating models for Unified Vision, as well as operating models for individual business verticals within the company.
• Lead the development and execution of strategic financial initiatives to enhance profitability.
• Oversee annual financial planning process and budgets that align with strategic goals, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost management.
• Engage with potential partners to expand business opportunities and enhance financial stability.
• Assess and execute strategic financial opportunities.
• Build robust relationships with investors and board, ensuring transparent communication about financial performance, forecasts, and strategies.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with financial regulations; oversee financial reporting and tax planning in accordance with relevant laws and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; an MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
• 10-15 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in technology-driven industries like healthcare, fintech, or SaaS.
• Advanced expertise in financial modeling, risk management, and accounting standards; strong familiarity with fiscal policy and corporate finance.
• Strategic thinker with robust analytical capabilities and a proactive, nimble approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing high-performance teams.

Pay range and compensation package

The estimated salary range for this role is $250,000. Total compensation for this position may also include stock options. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
