Senior Vice President Operations

Position Summary: Our client, a leading provider of consumer services throughout the United States and Canada is hiring an SVP, Operations. This role will lead all branch operations to drive operational excellence, customer service, and performance.

Absolute Minimum Must Have’s / Experience / Requirements:

Industry/ Discipline Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the services industry (uniforms, pest control, waste management, lawn services); branch-based organizations preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an operational leadership role overseeing a full P&L of $500M+ and 1,000+ employees
• Expertise in fostering operational excellence and metrics-based cultures
• 3+ years building and promoting customer focused field organizations
• Demonstrated ability to upscale/rebuild leadership teams
• Strong financial and business acumen – ability to interpret financial data and pull operational levers to improve the business or close gaps.

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree required

Other Preferred Requirements:

Lean Six Sigma certifications

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead all branch operations; Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, Finance and other corporate functions. Build talent at Director and VP level.
• Create and communicate clear strategies and plans with specific milestones and deliverables.
• Establish clear goals and operational metrics that are standardized across the enterprise.
• Identify ways technology can improve operational excellence and customer experience.
• Align with Commercial function to drive pricing strategies and identify new revenue levers beyond price and volume.
• Rebuild brand reputation in the marketplace by partnering with sales, marketing and customer service.
• Lead Regional Vice Presidents and Branch managers; Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, Finance and other corporate functions. Build talent at Director and VP level.
• Communicate at all levels of the organization (Board to field technicians and branch teams)

Secondary Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence, customer-centric culture.
• Work with Supply Chain to manage inventory and fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Drive customer “obsessed” culture through field teams and challenge customer service function to improve.
• Evaluate and improve service and routing methodologies.
• Implement Lean methodologies and hold teams accountable for standardization and waste elimination.
• Define a core, manageable set of KPIs that drive focus for revenue retention and capital efficiency
• Work closely with commercial teams to identify new revenue streams that are less capital-intensive.
• Work with IT org to use technology to deliver data and streamline operational processes
• Evaluate branch network and footprint to identify opportunities to reduce costs without impacting customer service or revenue retention.

Key Desired Business Outcomes –

• Improve top-tier retention: Analyze customer retention metrics and data to ensure the company protects the most profitable clients.
• Drive Price Increases: Ensure all regions implement enterprise-wide price increases
• Own Capital Prioritization: Partner with Sales and Operations leadership team to ensure capital investments are directed to the most profitable customers
• FY26 Budgeting: Define and deliver FY26 budget
• Centralized Planning: Fully deploy centralized install, service, collections and inventory processes
• Continuous Improvement: Sponsor Lean training and ensure processes for eliminating waste at company branches
