Role Summary

As the Director of Sales for e-commerce, you will co-lead our e-commerce business, with a primary focus on Amazon and secondarily, to support other e-commerce customers. Your role will involve developing and nurturing relationships with customers, bottlers, and distributors to bring our brands to life across multiple e-commerce platforms. You will focus on developing best-in-class partnerships with our customers across the assigned portfolio. You will work with bottlers and cross-functional teams to build a collaborative team focused on long-term growth opportunities for our customers and system, including all Brands. Additionally, you will be responsible for the delivery of the annual business plan metrics and maintaining a high level of interaction, engagement, and stewardship with our customers. In this role, you will lead, coach, and mentor your organization on strategic business planning and building customer engagement capabilities that drive beverage category sustainable business growth. As part of the Digital Team, you will help set the vision, strategy, and engagement for the company as a whole.

We seek individuals with strong digital capabilities and expertise, a passion for building relationships, who are results-driven, and possess extensive national sales experience within the beverage or CPG industries, including proficiency with Amazon.

What You’ll Do For Us

  • Business Planning & Account Management
    • Strategically manage and lead collaborative business planning with Amazon and other e-commerce accounts to drive brand sales and ensure mutual growth.
    • Create comprehensive Account Business Plans that encompass goals, key initiatives, and recommendations for new products to enhance market presence and sales performance.
    • Manage the onboarding processes for new products and brands, ensuring seamless transitions and effective integration into the e-commerce platforms.
    • Evaluate packaging solutions for various brands. Collaborate with brand teams to determine the optimal path forward and explore opportunities to add new SKUs.
    • Collaborate closely with internal and external subject matter experts (Customers, Bottlers, Brand teams, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) to ensure alignment, address concerns, and promote the growth on all ecommerce platforms.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:
    • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at Amazon.
    • Contact and visit Amazon to identify strategic opportunities and problem areas.
    • Register and manage Brands portfolio in Brands Registry
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Supply Chain Strategy:
    • Work closely with local bottling partners, distributor portfolios, and the Customer Support team to ensure orders are ready for shipment and resolve any EDI or billing questions.
    • Develop and activate supply chain strategies to boost efficiencies across Coca-Cola North America Product Supply and Foodservice distributors' operations.
    • Track chargebacks and shortages to submit AR reviews, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
    • Work with Customer Support team to identify and implement any compliance improvements.
  • Brand Management & Reporting:
    • Lead strategic growth partnership for Hydration Category, assist with reporting and analytics for hydration and warehouse brands business.
    • Develop Prime Day activation, Merchandising and Subscribe & Save (SnS) plans to boost brand visibility and sales.
    • Lead stewardship routines for responsible bottlers and distributors, measuring and communicating partners’ activities against mutually agreed-upon plans.
    • Assist with Digital Shelf, PDP and Content Management.
    • Partner with Marketing to drive best in class digital activation.
  • Product Innovation & Change Management:
    • Activate Coca-Cola North America’s category innovations at national and local levels.
    • Champion change by addressing barriers and service issues to deliver top-level distributor customer service.
Qualification & Requirements

  • Master’s Degree is preferred. Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of national sales experience within the beverage or CPG industries.
  • Amazon or CPG Amazon sales experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills and knowledge of supplier capabilities.
  • Expertise in supply chain operations and transportation.
  • Ability to seek alternatives, recommend solutions, and achieve win-win results.
